Local classic car enthusiasts organised an "Oldtimer"
event, for the first time in Vaesrade, which featured a large number of
Volkswagens, both the famous 'Bugs'and commercial vans, converted into
campingcars; a special category were old tractors. In this region huge American
limousines are 'en-vogue' and from May until October each year, Thursday evening
the Burger King outlet next to the RODA stadium in Kerkrade is the venue for
pimped cars from the USA. I shall make a visit one night and make pictures of
this weekly get-together of shiny product ... but for now I show the pictures I
took at Vaesrade
