Houthem was the venue for the start of the Himalaya Trial in October 2008. This challenging rally was taking the participants from the Netherlands by an interesting route over land to Royal Bhutan in South-East Asia. A journey of almost 2 months, sometimes by roads that hardly deserve to be called that way ..... , really discovery and adventure ! My daughter Anna, who could say "Blistol" before she could walk ... joined me in checking out the cars and meet some of the the participants.....please enjoy the pictures I took of (most of) the participating cars in the paddock at
